Arrest of wanted man after more than 3 years on the run
(Baonghean.vn) - While raising a child under 36 months old, Vi Thi Thuong was subject to the measure of "prohibiting leaving the place of residence" but fled the locality and was arrested on May 23, 2021.
Previously, in 2018, Vi Thi Thuong (born in 1992), residing in Khe Nan village, Chieu Luu commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An province, committed the act of "Illegal possession of drugs" and was prosecuted; because at that time she was raising a child under 36 months old, Thuong was released on bail by the authorities, however, Thuong took her child and fled the locality.

On April 9, 2018, the Investigation Police Agency of Ky Son District Police issued a decisionwantedfor Vi Thi Thuong.
After more than 3 years of hiding in China, on May 23, 2021, Vi Thi Thuong was discovered and arrested by Chieu Luu Commune Police.
The subject has been handed over to Ky Son District Police for handling according to regulations.
