(Baonghean.vn) - Two subjects organizing online soccer betting with large sums of money have just been arrested by Anh Son Police.
Anh Son District Police said that the unit has just arrested two subjects.soccer bettingonline with the amount of more than 34 million VND.
During the EURO finals (2021 European Football Championship), Anh Son District Police found that some people in the area were taking advantage of the ongoing matches to organize gambling in the form of football betting.
Through reconnaissance work, Anh Son District Police quickly identified Nguyen Huu Nam (born 1990), residing in Hamlet 4, Tho Son Commune, who organized online football betting.
Next, it was determined that Bui Van Cuong (born in 1986), residing in Long Tho village, Tho Son commune, often bet on football with large amounts of money transferred to Nguyen Huu Nam.

At 00:15 on June 30, 2021, the Special Task Force decided to coordinate with Tho Son Commune Police to solve the case, arresting two subjects Nguyen Huu Nam and Bui Van Cuong for the act ofgambleby football betting
Initially, the investigation agency proved that the amount of money the subjects used for gambling was 34,585,000 VND.
