Second working day of the 13th Central Conference

The press release of the Party Central Office said that on July 6, the third conference of the 13th Party Central Committee entered its second working day.

Morning,The Party Central Committee worked in the hall, discussing the situation and results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan, national finance, and medium-term public investment for the 2016-2020 period and the projected 2021-2025 five-year plan.

Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member and Prime Minister, chaired the discussion on behalf of the Politburo.

Afternoon,The Party Central Committee worked in groups to discuss the draft Working Regulations of the 13th Party Central Committee, Politburo and Secretariat; and the draft Working Regulations of the 13th Party Central Inspection Committee.

Afterwards, the Party Central Committee met to consider and take disciplinary action against officials. Comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary, on behalf of the Politburo, chaired and directed the meeting program.

The Party Central Committee discussed, concluded, voted and decided to discipline comrade Vu Huy Hoang, former member of the Party Central Committee, by expelling him from the Party; and to discipline comrade Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 14th National Assembly Delegation of Binh Duong province, by removing him from all positions in the Party for the 2010-2015, 2015-2020 and 2020-2025 terms./.
