Government agrees to purchase nearly 20 million additional doses of Pfizer vaccine
The Government has just issued Resolution No. 90/NQ-CP on additional purchase of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine BNT162.

Specifically, the Government agrees that the Prime Minister allows the application of the form of contractor selection in special cases prescribed in Article 26 of the Law on Bidding for the purchase of an additional 19,998,810 doses of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine BNT162 with the same conditions as Resolution No. 09/NQ-CP dated May 18, 2021 of the Government on the purchase of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine BNT162.
The Ministry of Health is responsible for the contents of Submission No. 341/TTr-BYT dated August 3, 2021 and urgently organizes the purchase of Pfizer's COVID-19 BNT162 vaccine to have the earliest and most vaccines possible to meet the requirements of epidemic prevention and control; ensuring quality, effectiveness, and combating all negativity in the process of purchasing and using vaccines./.
