In order to limit the gathering of people in markets, which poses a potential risk of Covid-19 infection, the People's CommitteeThai Hoa townA decision was made to allow people to go to the market only once every three days by issuing shopping vouchers. On August 22nd, some markets in Thai Hoa town began implementing this, and most people agreed and supported it.
Accordingly, the market access cards were stamped by the People's Committee of the ward and divided into groups for shopping. People had to fill in their full information on the card: name, address, and phone number. On the first day, especially since it coincided with the full moon of the seventh lunar month, many people were confused about the card.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, a resident of Tan Thang block, Hoa Hieu ward, said: Her family fully supports this policy of the local authorities.
“With the pandemic situation developing very complicatedly in the province, we cannot be complacent. We go to the market using vouchers; it might be a little inconvenient at first, but we will gradually get used to it. The important thing now is to ensure social distancing in accordance with the local anti-epidemic guidelines. If the epidemic is controlled well, we people will feel more secure,” Ms. Thuy added.

According to Nguyen Kim Hai, Chairman of the Hoa Hieu Ward People's Committee: From August 22nd, the ward beganissue shopping passes.The market is organized according to even and odd days and groups of residents in the area. Accordingly, each family goes to the market once every three days; each household will be issued 5 market entry cards for 15 days. The market entry card is valid for one-time use and will bear the household name and address. Each card is only valid for one person to enter the market.
