Consecutively discovered and arrested 2 subjects 'passing through checkpoints' to buy drugs
(Baonghean.vn) - In need of drugs, the subjects recklessly went out to the checkpoint to buy drugs for use but were discovered and arrested by the epidemic control task force.
On August 28, Nghi Loc District Police said that during the inspection at quarantine checkpoints, the unit promptly discovered 2 cases and 2 subjects illegally possessing drugs.
Previously, at around 12:30 p.m. on August 21, 2021, the Nghi Loc District Police Traffic Police team coordinated with Covid-19 epidemic control checkpoint No. 6 stationed at the foot of Nghi Yen overpass, Nghi Loc while on duty, discovered and caught HST (born in 1994), residing in hamlet 2, Nghi Yen commune, Nghi Loc district, illegally storing drugs.
Being discovered, the subject intentionally "through pin" to escape but failed. The seized evidence included 1 package of synthetic drugs weighing 4.2 grams, 4 phones, and 1 motorbike.

Then, at around 7:00 p.m. on August 26, 2021, Covid-19 prevention checkpoints No. 2 and No. 3 stationed in Dong Thinh hamlet, Khanh Hop commune, in coordination with Khanh Hop commune police, discovered suspect NVX (born in 1984), residing in block 7, Nghi Tan ward, Cua Lo town, showing suspicious signs.
When asked to present documents, NVX could not state the reason for going out during the social distancing period, so the working group conducted an inspection and caught the subject in the act of illegally storing drugs. Evidence seized: 01 package of synthetic drugs weighing 1.2 grams, 01 mobile phone, 01 motorbike.
At the Police Investigation Agency, the subjects confessed that they bought drugs for use because they needed them, and when theythrough quarantine checkpointdeliberately crossed the checkpoint.
Currently, Nghi Loc District Police are consolidating records to strictly handle the subjects according to the provisions of the law./.
