Nghe An speeds up and ensures safety of Covid-19 vaccination

At this conference, Nghe An was one of the localities commended for its implementation of Covid-19 vaccination. As of November 4, Nghe An ranked 4th out of 10 localities with the highest vaccination rate, with a rate of 106.06% (Calculated by the number of injections/number of vaccines allocated according to the decision; the actual number of injections may be more than the number of vaccine doses allocated).
Specifically: As of November 4, Nghe An has administered 1,209,845 Covid-19 vaccinations. Of these, 138,348 received 2 doses. 1,071,497 received at least 1 dose. On November 4, Nghe An administered the 25th vaccination with Cuba's Abdala vaccine, with a total of 79,178 doses. It is expected that on November 5, about 150,000 more people will receive the first dose of the Abdala vaccine.
From October 28 to November 4, Nghe An was allocated 435,600 doses of Abdala vaccine (25th batch); 116,760 doses of Pfizer vaccine and 772,360 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine. Immediately after the allocation decision of the Ministry of Health, Nghe An immediately allocated these vaccines to districts, cities and towns. After completing the 25th batch of vaccination, the districts, cities and towns will immediately deploy the 26th batch of vaccination with the two types of Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines.
However, by the end of the afternoon of November 5, on the National Covid-19 Vaccination Information Portal, Nghe An dropped to the group of 10 localities with the lowest vaccination rate, with 71.67%. This is because immediately after the Ministry of Health's allocation decision, the Information Portal updated the vaccine data. Meanwhile, by the evening of November 5, 772,360 newly allocated doses of AstraZeneca vaccine had just arrived in Nghe An.
