Two trucks collided at an intersection, the driver was thrown from the cabin.
(Baonghean.vn) - A water tanker and a truck collided on the right side of an intersection, causing the water tanker to fall into a manhole, the driver to be thrown from the cabin, and the front of the vehicle to be severely damaged.
The accident occurred at approximately 1 PM today, December 15th, on National Highway 48B at the intersection between Quynh Hung and Quynh Ba communes in Quynh Luu district.

According to the report, at the time of the incident, Mr. Nguyen Van Giang (residing in Hamlet 7, Quynh Ba Commune) was driving a vehicle with license plate 37N-7193 carrying a water tank from Cau Giat town towards Son Hai Commune to supply water to the local people. Upon reaching the intersection, he unexpectedly collided with a truck with license plate 37C-21669 driven by Nguyen Van Hoang (residing in Quynh Chau Commune, Quynh Luu District) traveling from Quynh Hung Commune towards the national highway. The collision caused the vehicle carrying the water tank to fall into a manhole, and Mr. Giang was thrown from the cabin and injured. Both vehicles sustained significant damage.

Upon receiving the report, traffic police from Quynh Luu district arrived to handle the situation.
It is known that this intersection has recently been widened and upgraded, and many accidents have occurred there in the past, some of them fatal.
