Continue to promote the effective role of the Women's Union

Over the past year, the Provincial Women's Union directed all levels of the Union to implement the 2021 theme "Focus on building a strong Union organization, actively participating in Party building and government building"; at the same time, continue to implement the theme "Safety for women and children", especially activities to prevent child abuse. The Union also focused on directing and building pilot models of the Provincial Women's Union in 2021 associated with themes, programs, projects, especially the program "Accompanying women in the border areas".

In their role, the Women's Union at all levels has directed the implementation of propaganda and supervision of the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; proposed and introduced female personnel to run for deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; coordinated to improve the capacity of female cadres and female candidates for deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. The Women's Union at all levels has focused on directing, innovating and diversifying forms of propaganda and education suitable for the target groups and subjects.

In addition, in all aspects of their work, grassroots associations have done a good job of mobilizing and supporting women to be creative in starting businesses, developing the economy, and protecting the environment. Women's Unions at all levels have proactively exploited new programs and projects, effectively maintained the entrusted lending activities from the Social Policy Bank, and secured loans with the Agriculture and Rural Development Bank to support members in economic development with a total capital of 3,417 billion 276 million VND for 199,561 households.

With its functions and roles in the community, the Association has carried out social supervision and criticism; promoted people's foreign affairs; done a good job of handling petitions, providing legal advice to cadres, members, women and mediation work.

At the conference, delegates agreed on the goals and targets for the coming year. Accordingly, in 2022, each Association will help at least 2 households with women escape poverty or near-poverty. Each district/city/town will support at least 10 women to start a business; Each district/city/townBuild a new "Shelter of Love" for poor women in especially difficult circumstances; Unions at all levels help 80% of women and girls who are victims of domestic violence and victims of human trafficking return home when discovered, and are supported by Unions at all levels to access at least one social assistance service.

At the conference, individuals and groups with outstanding achievements were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Women's Union. The Provincial Women's Union also presented Tet gifts to poor households in Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district with a total value of 20 million VND.

At the conference, the units signed a competition agreement, promoting the spirit of efforts to complete and exceed the set targets.
