Over the past year, the Provincial Women's Union directed its branches at all levels to implement the 2021 theme "Focus on building a strong Women's Union organization, actively participating in building the Party and the government"; while continuing to implement the theme "Safety for women and children," especially activities to prevent child abuse. The Union also focused on directing and developing model projects of the Provincial Women's Union in 2021, linked to themes, programs, and projects, especially the "Accompanying Women in Border Areas" program.

In its role, the Women's Union at all levels has effectively directed the dissemination of information and supervision of the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the election of People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; proposed and introduced female candidates to run for deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; and coordinated efforts to enhance the capacity of female officials and female candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. The Women's Union at all levels has focused on directing, innovating, and diversifying forms of propaganda and education to suit different target groups.

Furthermore, in their work, the grassroots women's associations have effectively mobilized and supported women in creative entrepreneurship, economic development, and environmental protection. The Women's Union at all levels has proactively exploited new programs and projects, maintaining effective entrusted loan operations from the Social Policy Bank and providing credit guarantees with the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank to support members in economic development, with a total capital of 3,417 billion 276 million VND for 199,561 borrowing households.

With its functions and roles within the community, the Association has carried out social monitoring and criticism; promoted people-to-people diplomacy; effectively handled petitions and complaints, provided legal advice to officials, members, and women, and conducted mediation work.

At the conference, delegates agreed on the goals and targets for the coming year. Accordingly, in 2022, each Women's Union branch will help at least 2 households with women escape poverty or near-poverty. Each district/city/town will support at least 10 women in starting businesses; each district/city/townConstruct a new "House of Love" for poor women in extremely difficult circumstances; the Women's Union at all levels will assist 80% of women and girls who are victims of domestic violence or victims of human trafficking who return home upon discovery, and will support them in accessing at least one social assistance service.

The conference also focused on outlining future directions for collaboration with the Tym Foundation.

At the conference, individuals and groups with outstanding achievements were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Women's Union. The Provincial Women's Union also presented Tet gifts to poor and disadvantaged households in Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district, with a total value of 20 million VND.

At the conference, the participating units signed emulation agreements, emphasizing the spirit of striving to achieve and surpass the set targets.
