On February 2 (the 2nd day of Tet), Thu Duc City Police (Ho Chi Minh City) are investigating a robbery on Pham Van Dong Street, near Go Dua Bridge, Hiep Binh Chanh Ward, Thu Duc City, which resulted in a suspect being arrested.snatchfall off bike and die.

The deceased was identified as DQT (born in 1993, residing in Go Vap). According to initial information, on the evening of the first day of Tet (February 1), T was driving a motorbike alone and two other suspects (sharing a motorbike) were traveling on Pham Van Dong Street looking for people going on a spring outing to rob them of money to spend during Tet.
Discovering that the young man was carrying a girl carrying a handbag, the three approached, grabbed her and ran towards Linh Xuan overpass. The victim shouted and chased after her. All three suspects drove their motorbikes at high speed and fled near Go Dua bridge (Hiep Binh Chanh ward, Thu Duc city). T could not control his speed and fell off his bike, motionless. The other two suspects saw T fall and ran to take T's bike and ran away, leaving T at the scene. T was seriously injured and died on the spot.
Thu Duc City Police examined the scene, investigated and searched for the remaining two suspects.
