Father-in-law shoots daughter-in-law then commits suicide.
Nguyen Dinh Thang, 62 years old, from Thanh Van commune, Cho Moi district (Bac Kan province), shot his daughter-in-law to death and then committed suicide on the afternoon of February 26.
According to the police, Mr. Thang's daughter-in-law, Lu Thi Xuan, 27 years old, had a conflict with her husband's family.

Mr. Thang used a homemade gun to shoot Ms. Xuan dead on the spot before using the gun to commit suicide. The man had previously lived with his wife, but had sent his son and daughter-in-law to live in another house in the same village.
Police have examined the scene and are investigating the incident.
