Father-in-law shot daughter-in-law then committed suicide
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang, 62 years old, in Thanh Van commune, Cho Moi district (Bac Kan province), used a gun to shoot his daughter-in-law to death and then committed suicide on the afternoon of February 26.
According to the police, Mr. Thang's daughter-in-law, Ms. Lu Thi Xuan, 27 years old, had a conflict with her husband's family.

Mr. Thang used a homemade gun to shoot Ms. Xuan to death on the spot and then committed suicide. The man, who previously lived with his wife, had sent his son and daughter-in-law to live in another house in the same village.
Police have examined the scene and are investigating the incident.
