(Baonghean.vn) - The number of tourists to Nghe An in April is estimated at 789,399, an increase of 237.16% over the same period. Total revenue from tourism in April is estimated at 569 billion VND.

Reporting on the socio-economic situation in April, the leader of the Department of Planning and Investment said that in April 2022, all levels and sectors implemented many solutions to focus on removing difficulties and boosting production and business. Thanks to that, the industrial production index in April is estimated to increase by 16.85% compared to April 2021.
Service sector activities continued to record many positive results. Total retail sales of goods in April were estimated at VND 6,651 billion, up 22.95% over the same period in 2021. Export turnover of goods in April was estimated at 180 million USD, up 7.38% over the same period; accumulated in 4 months was estimated at 729.4 million USD, up 23.03%.
Along with the whole country, Nghe An has implemented many activities to implement the tourism opening plan. Therefore, in April, the number of domestic and foreign tourists visiting tourist destinations increased dramatically, estimated at 789,399 arrivals, an increase of 237.16% over the same period in 2021. Total revenue from tourism in April is estimated at 569 billion VND.

State budget revenue in the first 4 months of 2022 is estimated at VND 6,303 billion, reaching 42% of the estimate, equal to 98.6% of the same period in 2021. Of which, domestic revenue is estimated at VND 5,721 billion, revenue from import and export activities is estimated at VND 581 billion.

The province's investment and business environment continues to improve strongly. Foreign affairs, investment promotion, business support and development activities have been strengthened. In April (as of April 20, 2022), the province has granted new licenses to 3 projects with a total registered investment capital of VND 1,347.8 billion.
As of April 20, 2022, the province has newly granted 36 projects with a total registered investment capital of VND 4,224.2 billion. Adjusted 35 projects, of which the total investment capital of 14 projects was adjusted (an increase of VND 12,980.3 billion). The total newly granted and increased capital is VND 17,204.5 billion. As of April 20, 2022, the concentrated public investment capital managed by the province has disbursed 20.22% of the detailed plan, higher than the same period in 2021.
In April, 133 new enterprises were established and in the first 4 months, there were 665 newly established enterprises with a total registered capital of 7,912.6 billion VND. There were 58 enterprises returning to operation, an increase of 11.5% over the same period.

The Provincial People's Committee also assessed that administrative reform, strengthening discipline and order were directed with attention, focusing on digital transformation in State agencies. The Provincial People's Committee has also sent the Draft Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, to seek opinions from central ministries, branches and the North Central provinces.
In addition, the cultural and social fields are taken care of, ensuring good implementation of social security issues. Scientific research and technological development activities are carried out according to the set plan. National defense, security, order and social safety are ensured.
In the coming time, the situation is forecasted to face many difficulties, especially the complicated developments in the world and the region, inflationary pressure, high prices of raw materials, gasoline and many other basic goods; the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic... greatly affecting production and life. On that basis, the Provincial People's Committee has proposed 10 groups of tasks and solutions and requested all levels and sectors to continue to implement them synchronously, uniformly, promptly and effectively.
