Among the changes are job cuts and cuts to expansion plans. The challenge is that newspapers are under increasing pressure from platforms, causing many news organizations to be severely affected by declining advertising revenue, while technology platforms are growing rapidly.
In response, news organizations are trying to reduce their dependence on advertising by increasing the number of subscribers to their content, focusing on online events, and expanding e-commerce activities. Revenue from users is increasingly becoming a priority for news organizations, with a series of strategies to exploit the potential.
In addition, newspapers must also offer cheaper advertising products, combining advertising diversification with the rapid deployment of traditional advertising. On the other hand, press agencies also cooperate and collaborate with each other, combining many contents, changing the content to attract users.
