Prosecuted 3 subjects colluding in land auction
The Investigation Police Agency of Ha Tinh City Police has just issued a decision to prosecute 3 suspects for the act of "Violating regulations on property auction activities".
The three defendants prosecuted include Le Van Viet (born in 1989), Bui Thi Thanh Tam (born in 1992), both from Ha Tinh City, and Le Quang Phung (born in 1968), residing in Ky Anh District.
According to the investigation agency, on June 3, at Ha Tinh Joint Stock Auction Company No. 1, a session took place.AuctionThe land use rights and assets attached to the land are a 2-storey house in Ky Ha commune, Ky Anh district, with a starting price of 1.4 billion VND, the owner of the asset is Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank).

At this auction, when Le Quang Phung wanted to buy the above property, Le Van Viet and Bui Thi Thanh Tam met, discussed, and agreed to collude with each other.
Phung gave Viet and Tam 70 million VND to arrange the auction results with the remaining auction participants in order to "lower" the property price, with the purpose of Phung winning the auction at the lowest price.
The investigation agency said that the group's actions affected the interests of businesses and individuals, the transparency of property auction activities in the area, and caused outrage among the people.
At the investigation agency, the subjects admitted their crimes.
