Three individuals charged with colluding in land auction.
The Investigation Police Department of Ha Tinh City Police has just issued a decision to prosecute three defendants for the act of "Violating regulations on the auction of assets".
The three defendants charged include Le Van Viet (born in 1989), Bui Thi Thanh Tam (born in 1992), both residing in Ha Tinh City, and Le Quang Phung (born in 1968), residing in Ky Anh district.
According to the investigating agency, on June 3rd, an auction took place at Ha Tinh Joint-Stock Auction Company No. 1.auctionThe property, which includes the land use rights and assets attached to the land, is a two-story house located in Ky Ha commune, Ky Anh district, with a starting price of 1.4 billion VND. The owner of the property is Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank).

At this auction, upon seeing that Le Quang Phung wanted to buy the property, Le Van Viet and Bui Thi Thanh Tam met, discussed, and colluded with each other.
Phụng gave Việt and Tâm 70 million VND to arrange the auction results with the remaining bidders in order to "lower" the price of the property, with the aim of ensuring Phụng won the auction at the lowest possible price.
The investigating agency stated that the actions of the group affected the rights of businesses and individuals, undermined the transparency of asset auctions in the area, and caused public outrage.
At the investigative agency, the suspects admitted to their crimes.
