Due to needing money to spend and pay personal debts, Dat defrauded and appropriated about 950 million VND from Mr. NVT - a conscript soldier at the prison where Dat worked.
At that time, Dat "bragged" that he could take care of Mr. T. to stay professionally in the police force and go to school.
Believing him, Mr. T. gave Dat the money. However, after receiving the money, Dat cut off contact with Mr. T. and fled. In January 2022, Dat was dismissed from the police force.
After that, Mr. T. filed a complaint about Dat's fraud to Binh Thuan Provincial Police.
