(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 4, the National Steering Committee against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods (National Steering Committee 389) held a national online conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the coming time.

The results of the implementation of the work against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the first 6 months of 2022 have decreased sharply, thereby contributing to stabilizing the market, protecting the legitimate rights of consumers and legitimate production and business enterprises, ensuring security and order, and promoting socio-economic development.
Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of Steering Committee 389 of Nghe An province said that in the first 6 months of the year, Nghe An province proactively and effectively implemented the Resolutions and directions of the Government and the Prime Minister, developed and deployed the Plan to combat smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods. The functional forces organized inspections and sanctioned 2,993 administrative violations, prosecuted 137 cases/182 subjects; the total value of fines was more than 127 billion VND.
