Nghe An receives more than 20.5 billion VND to support people in flood-hit areas

(Baonghean.vn) - The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province has received more than 20.5 billion VND from units and individuals to support people in flood-affected areas and overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

According to a quick report from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, as of 5:00 p.m. on October 13, more than 7,800 groups and individuals had registered to support relief work through the provincial Relief Fund, with a budget of more than VND 24.8 billion.

The provincial Fatherland Front has received more than 20.5 billion VND in funding, of which more than 3.2 billion VND was donated in cash, more than 9 billion VND was transferred, and nearly 3.1 billion VND was donated directly to the people. In addition, localities and units registered to donate more than 13.6 billion VND.

Since October 2, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has allocated 34.6 billion VND in emergency aid to help people in localities overcome natural disasters. In addition, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has connected and guided a number of sponsors to directly deliver gifts to support people in areas affected by natural disasters, helping them to soon stabilize their lives./.
