| The historic flood in early October 2022 caused heavy damage to many winter crop areas in Hung Nguyen. 15 hectares of winter cucumbers of farmers in Hung Tan commune (Hung Nguyen) were completely flooded during the fruiting period. During the days of heavy rain, people had to stick with their rain comrades to save the cucumbers. However, 8 hectares were heavily flooded, so the cucumber plants withered after the flood. The water receded, and people were able to sow seeds and replant them in time.
