Stealing motorbikes to sell for scrap to buy drugs

Previously, on November 8, 2022, Do Luong District Police received a file from Dong Son Commune Police regarding the case of Mr. L.D.H. (born in 1992), residing in Hong Thinh hamlet, Thinh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province, beingvillainstole a motorbike in the southern dike area of Dao River, in hamlet 1, Dong Son commune, Do Luong district.

Immediately, Do Luong District Police deployed forces, quickly investigated and searched for the culprit to stabilize security and order in the area. Using professional measures, on November 8, Do Luong District Police successfully arrested Doan Van Tu (born in 1995), residing in Duc Thinh hamlet, Thanh Duc commune, Thanh Chuong district for theft of property.
At the police station, Tu confessed that he stole a motorbike from Mr. L.D.H. in Hamlet 3, Da Son Commune, Do Luong District, and then sold it to get money to buy drugs.
Currently, Doan Van Tu is being held in criminal detention for further investigation and expansion. Do Luong District Police request the public to proactively provide information and actively cooperate with the local police force to serve the investigation, expand the case and return the property to the victims according to the provisions of law./.
