Nghe An: Breaking in from the 4th floor, thieves entered a gold shop to steal property at dawn
(Baonghean.vn) - Taking advantage of the time when no one was watching, a thief broke into a gold shop in Tan Ky district (Nghe An) and broke into the cabinet to steal many valuable pieces of jewelry.

On April 1, the leader of Tan Ky District Police (Nghe An) said that they are actively investigating a theft at a gold shop in the area. "The unit is coordinating with the criminal police force of Nghe An Province Police to isolate the suspect," said Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Ngoc Dung - Head of Tan Ky District Police.
According to the gold shop owner's report, in the early morning of March 29, taking advantage of the time when no one was watching, a thief broke into the Ngoc Khanh gold shop (block 3, Tan Ky town, Tan Ky district) owned by Mr. Hoang Van Khanh's family. At the time of the break-in, Mr. Khanh's family was not present in the house.

"At around 6am on March 29, I went to open the store and discovered that the cabinet had been broken into and a lot of gold and silver had been stolen. After checking all four floors, this woman discovered that the thief had broken in from the fourth floor and then searched through the floors to find valuables," said Ms. Duong Thi Thanh, a worker at the gold shop.
Fortunately, the homeowner only left the gold and silver outside, while the gold was kept in the safe, so nothing was lost. According to the family's report, the total stolen property was about 700 million VND.

"The thief was very professional and dangerous, armed with a switchblade, about 1.7 meters tall, left-handed, and limping," said Mr. Hoang Van Khanh (gold shop owner).
