Attending and directing the conference were comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Party building committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office. Comrade Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council chaired the conference.

The conference approved the collective review report of the Vinh City Party Committee Standing Committee in 2022. Despite many difficulties, with the attention of the Central and the province, the Vinh City Party Committee Standing Committee has united, unified, and well implemented the principle of democratic centralism in leadership, direction, and administration, successfully implementing the political goals and tasks in 2022.
Notably, the following are: Implementing programs, projects, and plans on socio-economics, national defense and security to implement the Resolutions of Party Congresses at all levels on schedule; implementing the plan of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing Decision 827 of the Prime Minister, coordinating to advise on the development of a project to expand the administrative boundaries of Vinh city; During the year, 22/22 targets on socio-economics, national defense and security were achieved and exceeded the Resolution.
Budget revenue is estimated at 3,538 billion VND, reaching 170.5% of the provincial estimate, up 38.5% over the same period. Attention has been paid to mobilizing resources for urban beautification; the city has officially put the walking street into operation with many forms of business and services; accelerated the progress of compensation and site clearance for key projects, creating an environment for investors; during the year, the city approved 168 compensation and site clearance plans with an amount of 490 billion VND; completed 75/112 projects in the 2022 public investment plan; paid attention to implementing social security policies well; Education and Training continued to be maintained and developed, maintaining the position as the leading unit in the province in terms of education quality; Focused on promoting and making breakthroughs in administrative reform...
Discussing at the conference, members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and delegates contributed to clarifying the results of 2022, and at the same time raised a number of solutions that need to be added to improve the effectiveness of leadership in performing tasks in 2023.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy highly appreciated the spirit of serious, democratic, responsible and frank self-criticism of the Vinh City Party Committee Standing Committee; acknowledged the spirit of solidarity and unity within the Standing Committee and the City Party Committee Executive Committee, especially the role of the leader who focused on leading and directing the implementation of assigned political tasks with many outstanding results.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized a number of key tasks that Vinh city needs to carry out in 2023. Accordingly, to build Vinh into an economic-cultural center of the North Central region, the city must develop diverse and rich types of trade and services with quality and scale.

In particular, the city is proactively preparing to merge Cua Lo into Vinh City in the coming time, arranging the administrative apparatus, human resources, and management work to be better and more professional. Focusing on building strong Party organizations, ensuring social security, national defense, and security.
