Dự và chỉ đạo hội nghị có đồng chí Thái Thanh Quý - Ủy viên Trung ương Đảng, Bí thư Tỉnh ủy, Trưởng Đoàn đại biểu Quốc hội tỉnh, Chủ tịch HĐND tỉnh; đại diện lãnh đạo các ban xây dựng Đảng, Văn phòng Tỉnh ủy. Đồng chí Phan Đức Đồng - Ủy viên Ban Thường vụ Tỉnh ủy, Bí thư Thành ủy, Chủ tịch HĐND thành phố chủ trì hội nghị.

Hội nghị đã thông qua báo cáo kiểm điểm tập thể Ban Thường vụ Thành ủy Vinh năm 2022. Mặc dù gặp nhiều khó khăn, song với sự quan tâm của Trung ương, tỉnh, Ban Thường vụ Thành ủy Vinh đã đoàn kết, thống nhất, thực hiện tốt nguyên tắc tập trung dân chủ trong công tác lãnh đạo, chỉ đạo, điều hành, thực hiện thắng lợi các mục tiêu, nhiệm vụ chính trị năm 2022.
Trong đó, nổi bật là: Thực hiện các chương trình, đề án, kế hoạch về kinh tế - xã hội, quốc phòng-an ninh thực hiện Nghị quyết Đại hội Đảng các cấp đúng tiến độ; triển khai kế hoạch của UBND tỉnh về thực hiện Quyết định 827 của Thủ tướng Chính phủ, phối hợp tham mưu xây dựng đề án mở rộng địa giới hành chính thành phố Vinh; Trong năm, có 22/22 chỉ tiêu về kinh tế - xã hội, quốc phòng - an ninh đạt và vượt so với Nghị quyết đề ra.
Thu ngân sách ước đạt 3.538 tỷ đồng, đạt 170,5% dự toán tỉnh giao, tăng 38,5% so với cùng kỳ. Công tác huy động nguồn lực chỉnh trang đô thị được quan tâm; thành phố đưa phố đi bộ chính thức vận hành với nhiều hình thức kinh doanh, dịch vụ; đẩy nhanh tiến độ bồi thường giải phóng mặt bằng các công trình trọng điểm, tạo môi trường cho các nhà đầu tư; trong năm thành phố phê duyệt 168 phương án bồi thường giải phóng mặt bằng với số tiền 490 tỷ đồng; hoàn thành 75/112 công trình trong kế hoạch đầu tư công năm 2022; chăm lo thực hiện tốt chính sách an sinh xã hội; công tác GD&ĐT tiếp tục được duy trì và phát triển, giữ vững là đơn vị dẫn đầu toàn tỉnh về chất lượng giáo dục; Tập trung đẩy mạnh, đột phá công tác cải cách hành chính...
Discussing at the conference, members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and delegates contributed to clarifying the results of 2022, and at the same time raised a number of solutions that need to be added to improve the effectiveness of leadership in performing tasks in 2023.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Thai Thanh Quy highly appreciated the spirit of serious, democratic, responsible and frank self-criticism of the Vinh City Party Committee Standing Committee; acknowledged the spirit of solidarity and unity within the Standing Committee and the City Party Committee Executive Committee, especially the role of the leader who focused on leading and directing the implementation of assigned political tasks with many outstanding results.
The Provincial Party Secretary emphasized a number of key tasks that Vinh city needs to carry out in 2023. Accordingly, to build Vinh into an economic-cultural center of the North Central region, the city must develop diverse and rich types of trade and services with quality and scale.

In particular, the city is proactively preparing to merge Cua Lo into Vinh City in the coming time, arranging the administrative apparatus, human resources, and management work to be better and more professional.
