More than 1,000 workers and laborers attended 'Workers' Festival - Welcome Spring Quy Mao 2023'

"Workers' Festival - Welcome to the Year of the Cat 2023" is the kick-off activity for a series of activities to care for union members and workers during the Lunar New Year 2023 of Nghe An Trade Union. Associated with the theme "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Connectivity", this is the first program organized by the Provincial Labor Federation to honor, encourage and commend outstanding workers who have overcome difficulties, strived to compete in labor production, and achieved many outstanding achievements.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu highly appreciated the quality of the care programs for union members and workers that Nghe An Trade Union has implemented in the recent past. In particular, the program "Tet sum vay" is considered a strong and meaningful mark, becoming a regular activity implemented at all levels of the trade union, contributing to caring for and sharing with workers when Tet comes and Spring comes.

Sharing about the "Workers' Festival - Welcome to the Year of the Cat 2023", the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed that this is an innovative and creative way, attracting the participation of units to take care of workers, especially in the difficult period of production and business, many businesses have to cut labor.

In 2023, it is forecasted that the world and regional economic situation will continue to develop in a complicated and unpredictable manner. In order to contribute to economic and social development and ensure social security, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee hopes that trade unions will be organized,union member, workerContinue to proactively improve professional skills, comply with laws and labor regulations, constantly study, improve class awareness and political capacity, and be worthy of being the core force, leading the way in the cause of industrialization, modernization and innovation.

At the program, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu presented Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to 30 outstanding workers across the province. At the same time, the Provincial Labor Federation presented 7 "Union Shelters", each worth 40 million VND, and 200 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to union members in especially difficult circumstances.

Also in the program, more than 1,000 welfare gifts, each worth 200,000 VND from Nghe An Trade Union were handed to workers and laborers attending the festival.
