Practically welcoming the congresses of trade unions at all levels, towards the 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028, the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association jointly organized the "First Press Award on the Workers' Movement and Trade Union Activities of Nghe An Province" in 2022 - 2023". The award is organized for journalists in Nghe An province and union officials, union members, civil servants, workers and people in the province.

Through the award, the organizing committee hopes to contribute to enhancing the role and position of trade union organizations, enhancing the responsibility of Party committees at all levels, authorities and society for trade union activities, taking care of building a team of workers and the provincial Trade Union organization to be increasingly comprehensive and developed, in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo.
