Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung presents gifts and wishes a happy New Year in Con Cuong district
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 13, preparing to welcome the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao, the provincial delegation led by comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited, presented gifts, and wished a happy New Year to the locality, armed forces, meritorious people, and prestigious people in Con Cuong.
Also attending were leaders of the Provincial People's Committee Office, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Military Command, the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Standing Committee of the Con Cuong District Party Committee.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung visited and wished a Happy New Year to Chau Khe border commune; presented gifts to units: Mobile Training Battalion of the Border Guard, Chau Khe Border Post, Con Cuong District Police, Con Cuong District Military Command, Commune Police and Chau Khe Commune Military Command.
Chau Khe is a border commune with 24km of border with Laos. The whole commune has 1,534 households with 4 ethnic groups living together in harmony. It is a large commune with difficult roads, the commune's economy depends on agricultural and forestry production. Currently, the commune has 230 poor households, accounting for 14.99%, with an average income per capita of 25 million VND/person/year.

The national defense and security situation in the commune in recent years has been stable, with no hot spots. The commune has successfully implemented the Drug-Free Border Commune Project and received a Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Public Security for the movement of the entire people to protect national security in 2022.
Speaking at the program, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung sent to the Party Committee, Government, armed forces, and people in Chau Khe commune in particular and Con Cuong district in general his sincere greetings and best wishes for a happy new year, with good health, happiness, success, and many new victories in the new year.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that 2022 has passed and the province has achieved very encouraging results. The budget revenue is nearly 22,000 billion VND, of which domestic revenue is approximately 20,500 billion VND; FDI investment attraction is nearly 1 billion USD.
People's lives have been gradually improved, the province has mobilized many resources to care for policy beneficiaries and the poor. In that result, there are contributions from the Party Committee, government, armed forces, people of Chau Khe commune in particular and Con Cuong district in general.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also expressed his excitement and warmly commended the results of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building the great national unity bloc of Chau Khe commune in 2022.
