(Baonghean.vn) - A representative from VNPT Nghe An stated that a large number of subscribers in the area have now resumed normal service. For customers still experiencing signal or network issues, they can contact the company for technical assistance as soon as possible.

After acknowledging the incident, a representative from the network provider stated: "VinaPhone quickly implemented technical solutions, and the issue was subsequently resolved, with services and communication returning to normal."

VinaPhone also apologized to customers for the inconvenience caused during the service usage and hoped for their understanding.

According to our reporter's observations, by the morning of February 4th, VinaPhone subscribers in Nghe An province had largely returned to normal service. However, a small number of subscribers were still experiencing intermittent signal and network issues, resulting in connection disruptions.

Speaking with a reporter from Nghe An Newspaper, Ms. Ho Thi Thuy Trang, Director of VNPT Nghe An, said: "Immediately after the incident occurred on the afternoon of February 3rd, the technical departments of the corporation worked and gradually restored the situation. In Nghe An province, by the morning of February 4th, most subscribers had returned to normal service. As of 10:00 AM on February 4th, 4G and 3G networks have been fully restored."

Regarding the issue of some subscribers still experiencing weak signal, intermittent network, and connection interruptions, Ms. Ho Thi Thuy Trang stated: This problem only occurs locally in certain areas and also depends on the customer's equipment. For older devices, this phenomenon is not uncommon. Currently, subscribers experiencing these problems can contact the unit directly or the nearest VinaPhone branch so that technical staff can resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Not only VinaPhone, but earlier in 2023, a large number of MobiFone subscribers, mainly in Ho Chi Minh City, reported losing signal and being unable to make calls. Some subscribers said that they only saw signal bars appear after switching their phones to the 3G network. Meanwhile, most reported a "No Service" status.

Shortly after, at around 7 PM on January 4th, MobiFone also issued an apology for the service disruption. Specifically, MobiFone stated that in the late afternoon of January 4th, their system experienced localized congestion, making it difficult for customers in some areas to use voice services.
