Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, many recreational, cultural, artistic activities and festivals have been suspended over the past three years. This year, 2023,Pu Nha Thau FestivalIn the border district of Kỳ Sơn, the festival will be held again on a district-wide scale. To prepare for this year's festival, the people and relevant departments are urgently carrying out preparations, finalizing everything in anticipation of the opening day.

According to the plan, the Pu Nha Thau Festival will be held over two days (February 14th and 15th, or January 24th and 25th), including both ceremonial and festive parts. The ceremonial part includes: the Announcement Ceremony, the Procession, the Buffalo Sacrifice Ceremony, and the Grand Sacrifice Ceremony; the festive part is rich in the ethnic identity of the highland people.Ky SonThe event included a cultural performance with the participation of 21 communes and towns; a competition for the most beautiful campsite; folk games such as crossbow shooting, throwing the ball, stick pushing, tug-of-war...; a competition for the most beautiful costume among units in the district; and a campfire gathering...

These days, the Party Committee and local government of Huu Kiem commune, where the Pu Nha Thau temple is located, are mobilizing all available resources to carry out the assigned tasks.

Mr. Luong Van Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Huu Kiem commune, shared: "Although the workload is quite heavy, the staff are enthusiastically working to complete their tasks. With the desire for the Pu Nha Thau Festival to be successful, safe, and joyful, Huu Kiem commune is doing its utmost to complete all preparations, demonstrating the efforts and unity of the people in the commune."

The Ky Son District Cultural, Sports and Communication Center, one of the specialized units responsible for preparing and managing the games and competitions, is also actively completing the decoration work, hanging banners and slogans, decorating the stage, etc.

Hopefully, with thorough preparation, high responsibility from all levels and sectors, and the joint efforts of organizations, individuals, units, businesses, and the people of Huu Kiem commune, the Pu Nha Thau Festival in 2023 will be a great success, leaving a deep impression on the people and visitors from all over the world.
