Closing ceremony of the sports event celebrating Vietnamese Doctors' Day.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 26th, the Nghe An Health Department held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes to the athletes and teams participating in the sports competition to celebrate Vietnamese Doctors' Day on February 27th.
Representatives from the health sector attended the ceremony.Nghe An, the Provincial Labor Union, healthcare units in Vinh City, and a large number of athletes and spectators.

The sports event celebrating Vietnamese Doctors' Day on February 27th was organized by the Nghe An Department of Health in coordination with the Health Sector Trade Union.
The tournament took place from February 24th to 26th with the participation of 360 athletes from 27 medical units in Vinh City. The athletes competed in two sports: men's and women's volleyball and badminton (men's doubles 40 years old, women's doubles 40 years old, mixed doubles 40 years old; men's doubles 41 years old, women's doubles 41 years old and mixed doubles 41 years old).
The sports competition was organized to launch and promote the movement of physical exercise and sports training among all officials and employees of the health sector, making it more widespread; at the same time, it created a vibrant competitive atmosphere and a spirit of exchange, learning, and mutual understanding among officials and union members of health units.

The tournament was lively, exciting, and dramatic, with many captivating and unexpected matches that thrilled the audience. The athletes, with their spirit of unity, enthusiasm, honesty, and sportsmanship, competed wholeheartedly, delivering many excellent and beautiful shots and rallies. Through this tournament, the organizing committee selected outstanding teams and exemplary individuals to build a pool of athletes for the industry when participating in provincial and national tournaments.

Accordingly, in the men's and women's recreational volleyball competition, the first prize went to the Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital team; the 115 General Hospital team won second prize; and the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention team and the Nghe An Friendship General Hospital team shared third prize.

In badminton, the pair of athletes from the HospitalOncologyNghe An won first prize in the men's doubles over 41 years old; the pair from Nghe An Psychiatric Hospital won first prize in the mixed doubles over 41 years old; the pair from Thai Thuong Hoang Hospital won first prize in the men's doubles under 40 years old; the pair from Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital won first prize in the mixed doubles under 40 years old; and the pair from Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital won first prize in the women's doubles under 40 years old.
