Closing ceremony of sports tournament to celebrate Vietnamese Doctors' Day
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 26, Nghe An Health Department held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes to athletes and teams participating in the sports tournament to celebrate Vietnamese Doctors' Day, February 27.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the health sector.Nghe An, Provincial Labor Federation, medical units in Vinh city and a large number of athletes and spectators.

Sports tournament to celebrate Vietnamese Doctors' Day February 27 organized by Nghe An Department of Health in coordination with the Health Sector Trade Union.
The tournament took place from February 24 to February 26 with the participation of 360 athletes from 27 medical units in Vinh city. The athletes participated in 2 competitions: men's and women's volleyball and badminton (40-year-old men's doubles, 40-year-old women's doubles, 40-year-old mixed doubles; 41-year-old men's doubles, 41-year-old women's doubles and 41-year-old mixed doubles).
The sports tournament is organized to promote the movement of physical exercise and sports among all cadres, workers and civil servants in the health sector more and more deeply; at the same time, create an exciting competitive atmosphere, a spirit of exchange, learning and mutual understanding among cadres and union members of health units.

The tournament took place in an exciting, enthusiastic, dramatic atmosphere with many attractive and surprising matches, creating excitement for the audience. The athletes with the spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm, honesty, and nobility competed with all their might, contributing many beautiful and good shots. Through the tournament, the organizing committee selected teams with excellent achievements and typical faces to create a source of athletes for the industry when participating in tournaments at the provincial and central levels.
The organizing committee has awarded prizes towinning teams and athletes.
Accordingly, in the men's and women's volleyball event, the first prize went to the Nghe An Traditional Medicine Hospital team; the 115 General Hospital team won the second prize; the Nghe An Provincial Center for Disease Control team and the Nghe An General Friendship Hospital team shared the third prize.

In badminton, the pair of Hospital athletesTumorNghe An won first prize in the men's doubles over 41 years old category; the athlete pair from Nghe An Mental Hospital won first prize in the mixed doubles over 41 years old category; the athlete pair from Thai Thuong Hoang Hospital won first prize in the men's doubles under 40 years old category; the athlete pair from Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital won first prize in the mixed doubles under 40 years old category; the athlete pair from Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital won first prize in the women's doubles under 40 years old category./.
