(Baonghean.vn) - After basically completing the section from Cua Hoi to Nam Cam intersection, Nghe An is now focusing its efforts on accelerating the progress of the coastal road from Nghi Son to Nghi Loc. However, in practice, obstacles have arisen, preventing localities from acquiring and handing over land for the project.

The shrimp farm owned by Mr. Tran Ngoc Khoa in Thanh Vinh 2 hamlet, Nghi Quang commune (Nghi Loc district) is expected to have approximately 2,700 m2 of land reclaimed for bridge abutments. However, according to reports, the compensation and support offered are still low, preventing the land reclamation and handover process from proceeding. Photo: Nguyen Hai

Eight households located north of the Lach Quen bridge in Tien Thuy commune will be relocated to make way for the construction of abutment M1 to pier T3. Due to issues related to land ownership, compensation, and the fact that the local authorities have not yet completed the resettlement area, the handover of the land is proving difficult. According to the plan, the deadline for completion of the section from abutment M1 to pier T3 is November 30, 2023. (Photo: Nguyen Hai)

Due to land acquisition issues, the construction progress of the northern pier of the Lach Quen bridge, located in Tien Thuy commune (Quynh Luu district), has been delayed, resulting in a loss of nearly 60 billion VND. Photo: Nguyen Hai

While awaiting the handover of the site for piers T1 to T3, Trung Nam 18 E&C Construction Joint Stock Company drilled and constructed pier M1 from the northern mountain peak of Lach Quen Bridge. Photo: Nguyen Hai

Along with organizing the handover of the land for the northern pillar of Lach Quen Bridge, Quynh Luu district also had to relocate dozens of medium-voltage power poles south of Lach Quen Bridge. Photo: Nguyen Hai

While Nghi Loc and Quynh Luu districts are facing some obstacles, land acquisition and site clearance work in Dien Chau district is generally progressing smoothly. Two of the seven households have yet to agree to hand over their land for the construction of the road connecting Quynh Lien and Quynh Bang to Quynh Luong and Quynh Minh. A representative from the Quynh Bang Commune People's Committee stated: After reviewing and re-determining the land ownership, the commune and district will consider and persuade the residents; the goal is to hand over the land for the project by the end of March. The illegally constructed shrimp pond belonging to Ms. Pham Thi Van in Quynh Lien commune (Hoang Mai town) has already been subject to administrative penalties, meaning she will not be compensated during the demolition process. Furthermore, because she disagrees with the 30% compensation offered for the structures and assets on the leased land, her family has not yet agreed to hand over the land. (Photo: Nguyen Hai)

Mr. Pham Van Hao, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town, said: Compared to other localities, Hoang Mai town still has 2.38 km/101 plots of land, so the volume of land to be reclaimed and handed over is larger. Despite many difficulties, Hoang Mai town is committed to handing over the land as promised to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
