(Baonghean.vn) - The Investigation Police Agency of Tan Ky District Police (Nghe An) has just prosecuted Chu Thi Que (born 1963), residing in Tan Ky town, Tan Ky district, for the crime of loan sharking in the area with interest rates 9 times higher than the regulation.

Initially, the Tan Ky District Police Department proved that Que had lent money to many people in Tan Ky District in the form of mortgages and credit with interest rates 9 times higher than the regulations. Working with 7 victims, it was clear that the amount of money the subject illegally profited was more than 300 million VND.

After a period of synchronous implementation of professional measures, Tan Ky District Police successfully broke the case of "Lending at high interest rates in civil transactions", arrested Chu Thi Que, seized 42 million VND in cash, 4 notebooks, 1 motorbike and many other related documents.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded by Tan Ky District Police.
