Launch of Vinh Ancient Citadel Night Food Street
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of April 27, Vinh City held a ceremony to launch the Vinh Ancient Citadel Night Food Street with a new look. This is a meaningful activity to promote Nghe An cuisine and serve the people and tourists coming to Vinh City during the tourist season.
Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Tran Ngoc Tu - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of Vinh City and many people of Vinh City, tourists from near and far.
Over the years, on the lineDao Tan StreetCua Nam ward has formed a night food street with many Nghe An specialties, attracting a certain number of customers, contributing to the development of the night economy of the ward in particular and Vinh city in general.

With its available advantages, Vinh City has built the project "Vinh Ancient Citadel Night Food Street" in Cua Nam Ward to synchronously implement solutions to elevate the food street, creating a highlight for people and tourists to visit and experience.

To give a new look to the Vinh Ancient Citadel night food street, Vinh city has recently focused on improving the roads such as upgrading sidewalks, decorative lighting systems, and synchronizing kiosks. Business owners have also voluntarily invested in and renovated their shops. Cua Nam Ward has also deployed forces to sign commitments with business households, requiring them to ensure regulations on food safety, environmental hygiene, etc. when operating.

Vinh ancient citadel night food street is deployed on 2 routes. Route 1 is Dao Tan street, from the right gate to the left gate of Vinh ancient citadel. Route 2 is located in the East of the broadcasting center of Nghe An Radio and Television Station, about 150m long, intersecting with Dao Tan street.

The Vinh Ancient Citadel Night Food Street currently has 28 registered businesses. Of these, 12 are fixed businesses and 16 are mobile businesses. The number of businesses will be studied and expanded after evaluating the effectiveness of the streets when they come into operation.
Vinh City also specifically regulates the operating hours for business owners. For mobile kiosks, it starts from 6pm to 6am the following morning every day of the week. After that time, all households must stop operating, clean up, and return the premises to their original state. Fixed kiosks are allowed to operate 24/7.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Tran Quang Lam - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee emphasized that Vinh Ancient Citadel Night Food Street will be a new destination of the city and requested Cua Nam Ward to implement the project well, arrange forces to control business activities, security and order issues, and the environment in the area. Business households should uphold the spirit of civilized commerce, implement good business culture so that the food street can leave an impression on tourists.
