To check the coolant level in your car, you need to inspect the coolant reservoir. The reservoir has min/max markings indicating the minimum and maximum coolant levels. Checking your car's coolant level requires following these four steps:
Step 1: Turn off the engine, open the hood, and wait for the engine to cool down completely.
Step 2: Gently unscrew the coolant reservoir cap counterclockwise to release excess pressure and open the cap.
Step 3: If you notice the coolant level is between the Min and Max marks, it means the car still has enough coolant.
Step 4: If the engine coolant level is below the Min mark, add more coolant to ensure the vehicle runs smoothly.
When checking the coolant level, users should not open the coolant reservoir cap when the engine is hot, as the released fluid will be at a high temperature, increasing the risk of burns.
Not all coolant products are suitable for all vehicles. In particular, only the appropriate coolant additive should be used for each vehicle type to minimize damage to the engine. Users need to be careful when changing coolant because some additives in coolant can be harmful to health.

Add coolant

Based on driving conditions, mileage, weather conditions, etc., customers can choose the appropriate time to change the engine coolant. Here's how to add coolant:
Step 1: Allow the car engine to cool down completely.
Step 2: Gently unscrew the coolant reservoir cap counterclockwise, then open the cap.
Step 3: If the coolant level is below the Min mark, slowly add more coolant until it reaches the specified level, being careful not to spill the coolant.
Step 4: Unscrew the coolant reservoir cap until you hear a click. Make sure the arrow on the reservoir and the cap are facing each other.
Note: In case of coolant leakage from the reservoir, the problem should be fixed as soon as possible.
Additionally, drivers can take their vehicles to an authorized auto service center to ensure the engine receives the correct type of coolant that meets requirements.
