Found the body of a young man who jumped off Ben Thuy bridge
(Baonghean.vn) - After more than a day of searching in hot weather, at noon on May 8, the body of the young man who jumped off Ben Thuy 1 bridge was found.

As reported by Baonghean.vn, at 9:18 a.m. on May 7, 2023, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Command Center, Nghe An Provincial Police received a report that someonejumped off Ben Thuy 1 bridge to commit suicide.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department directed the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team on the river to mobilize forces and vehicles to quickly arrive at the scene and coordinate the search for victims.
The identity was identified as Mr. PVS (born in 1995), from Yen Thanh district (Nghe An). Before committing suicide, Mr. S. left his motorbike and personal documents on the bridge.
After more than a day of coordinated search, at 1:00 p.m. on May 8, Mr. S's body was found floating near the shipyard, about 3km from Ben Thuy bridge; the rescue team salvaged it, brought it ashore and handed it over to his family.
