(Baonghean.vn) - The hot weather in recent days has affected the studying and exam preparation of many students. Meanwhile, this is the time for final year students to accelerate with many important upcoming exams.

The weather in Que Phong district has been very hot in recent days, with temperatures reaching over 40 degrees Celsius at many times of the day. While students in grades 6, 7, and 8 have completed their year-end exams, grade 9 students are still focusing on reviewing to prepare for the 10th grade entrance exam. At Que Phong Ethnic Minority Secondary School, in addition to reviewing for the Que Phong High School entrance exam, many students have registered for the provincial Ethnic Minority High School entrance exam, so reviewing for the exam is extremely difficult. To ensure the health of students, the school schedule has changed these days. In the morning, students can study earlier, but in the afternoon, they can return after 3 pm and extend the class to 6 pm to help students study more conveniently. On cool days, teachers and students extend the class schedule to the maximum, including Saturday and Sunday. Photo: Dinh Tuyen
The special feature of the Ethnic Minority High School is that all students eat, stay and live in the school. Teacher Nguyen Thi Ngan - Vice Principal of the school shared: "In addition to changing the teaching schedule, we pay attention to the nutritional regime for students, supplementing food for them. For students with limited academic ability or students who need extra training to take the entrance exam to boarding schools, we assign teachers to provide extra training for them in the evenings". In addition to studying in class, students visit the school library during after-school hours. Reading more materials helps them gain more knowledge to complete social argumentative essays. Photo: Dinh Tuyen

However, at this time, evening study time is longer because students are focusing on sprinting for the 2023 high school graduation exam. After 4 mock exams, the school's exam results are quite positive and the school is making efforts to continue to maintain its top 3 position in the province in the upcoming exam. Photo: Dinh Tuyen

In addition to 6 ceiling fans and wall fans, some students also brought small fans to class to dispel the heat. Photo: Dinh Tuyen

However, to achieve the goal of passing the entrance exam to Hanoi Medical University, Linh Ngoc said that she still has a long way to go to conquer her dream. The stressful studying sometimes makes Ngoc forget the heat and hardship. Photo: Dinh Tuyen

"Wishing you a successful exam season", "Sending thousands of words of love to K9. University is not a burden on your shoulders, it is a gift you want to achieve for yourself. Wishing you calmness and confidence"... In the last days of the school year, many words of sharing from students sent to seniors of class 12 seemed to give more strength to the candidates in this difficult journey. Photo: Dinh Tuyen
In addition to focusing on reviewing for the exam in class, Mr. Le Viet Phuong - a Biology teacher - went to the dormitory rooms to provide additional support for the candidates. This year, about 50% of the students at the Ethnic Minority Boarding High School No. 2 chose the Natural Science subject group. Of these, about 20 students wish to enter medical universities, which is a big challenge for both teachers and students. Photo: Dinh Tuyen
In the midst of hard exam preparation sessions, students of class 12A2 of Ethnic Minority Boarding High School No. 2 still have moments of leisure, organizing a birthday party for their homeroom teacher. These will be memorable memories for them in the last month of their student life and the love of teachers, friends, and school will give them more strength to strive, study hard, and complete their set goals.
