The question took data from the article "At the age of 20, I lived like a wild flower", and asked candidates to discuss two choices: If you were the princess in the story, would you choose to continue living in the safe castle or go out to find the bright sky lanterns?

Talking about her exam, candidate Nguyen Ngoc Anh - Nghi Phu Secondary School said: This is the first time I have participated in the specialized exam, so I was quite surprised with this year's essay question. Personally, I quite like this exam and I kept myself calm to do the test. I think that if I live in a safe zone, unable to escape from the shell of my family and relatives, I will not be able to develop.

In the Literary Argumentative Essay, the task of clarifying the two short stories "Distant Stars" and "Ivory Comb" to clarify "short story writing techniques", I think the topic is quite long, but since there is a pre-existing topic, I did quite well. I wrote this essay using 4 exam papers.

Meanwhile, female student Nguyen Ngoc Gia Bao - Ha Huy Tap Secondary School said that choosing to live in a princess castle or choosing a safe lifestyle is not difficult to express her opinion: In my opinion, not only do we have to step out of our comfort zone, but we also have to go further. With 2 works in the literary essay section, I think it is quite easy. Besides, I personally like analyzing literary works more than poetry, so I think I did quite well and hope to get over 11 points.

In English, the number of candidates who came out before the deadline was not much. Compared to last year's exam, some candidates said the exam was quite easy and were quite confident with their work. Student Hoang Thi Bao Ngoc - Xuan Linh Secondary School (Nghi Xuan - Ha Tinh) said: I found this year's English exam quite easy, within my ability. I found the essay quite good when it talked about students listening to their parents' advice instead of relying on themselves. The remaining essay was about writing a letter based on available data, which was not too difficult. I think the difficult questions were about rewriting, about 2 sentences.

Regarding this test, student Khanh Tram - Dang Thai Mai School said: I finished all the questions but I am not confident in the result. Compared to last year's test, I think this test is more difficult because it has many new words. The essay is quite easy and I did well. I hope I will get 12 or 13 points with this test.

In the remaining subjects, candidates also said that the exam was not easy but had high classification. That also helped to facilitate admission to specialized schools and differentiate candidates.
