At Truong Bon National Historical Site, comrade Nguyen Duc Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and comrades in the delegation respectfully offered flowers and lit incense to express their respect, admiration and deep gratitude to the 1,240 heroic martyrs who fell on the legendary Highway 15A, typically the heroic sacrifice of 13 youth volunteers of Company 317, on October 31, 1968.

Since the fall of the August Revolution in 1945, with the spirit of "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom", the Vietnamese people have been resilient and brave through many extremely arduous and fierce battles, with the sacrifice of millions of outstanding people to liberate the nation, unify the country, build and protect the Fatherland. Truong Bon is a golden page of history, a milestone in the history of the nation, a sacred land, a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, where girls and boys brought their eighteen and twenty years of age to go into the war with all their optimism, desire to live and responsibility for the country.
