Since the August Revolution of 1945, with the spirit of "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom," the Vietnamese people have bravely and resolutely endured many extremely arduous and fierce struggles, with the sacrifice of millions of outstanding sons and daughters, to liberate the nation, unify the country, and build and protect the Fatherland. Truong Bon is a golden page in history, a milestone in the nation's history, a sacred land, a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, where young men and women, at the age of eighteen or twenty, went into the war with complete optimism, a desire to live, and a sense of responsibility to their country.
