Determining 12 teams participating in the 2023 National U21 Finals
(Baonghean.vn) - After the 2023 National U21 qualifying round ended, the tournament organizers have determined 12 teams to participate in the final round. Of which, U21 Thanh Hoa and U21 Song Lam Nghe An will participate as co-hosts.
The 2023 National U21 Qualifiers ended on the afternoon of September 13, determining the 12 excellent names to be present in the final round, competing from September 18 to October 1.
Five teams have already secured tickets before the first round, including Viettel, Hanoi (Group A), Kon Tum, Da Nang (Group B), and Ho Chi Minh City (Group D). On the afternoon of September 13, the final round of the qualifying round determined the remaining five teams to enter the final round. They are Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Long An, PVF-CAND, and Tay Ninh.
In which, 2 co-host teams that do not have to participate in the qualifying round will go straight to the next round, which are U21 Thanh Hoa andU21 Song Lam Nghe An.
Thus, the 12 teams entering the National U21 Finals include: Viettel, Hanoi, PVF-CAND (Group A); Kon Tum, Da Nang (B); Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Tay Ninh (Group C); Ho Chi Minh City, Long An (Group D) along with the two co-host teams Thanh Hoa and Song Lam Nghe An.
In the Final Round, 12 teams will be drawn into 3 groups of 4 teams each. Groups A and B will compete in Thanh Hoa, Group C will compete in Nghe An. The drawing ceremony will take place on September 16. The Final Round will take place from September 18 to October 1.
