Discharge of Song Quang Hydropower Reservoir from 2:30 a.m. on September 27
(Baonghean.vn) - At 22:17, the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of Nghe An province received Notice No. 2609/2023/TB-SQ dated September 26, 2023 from Song Quang Hydropower Joint Stock Company on the operation of the Song Quang Hydropower Reservoir discharge project.
Accordingly, to ensure the safe operation and regulation of water at Song Quang Hydropower Reservoir in accordance with the procedures approved by the Provincial People's Committee and in accordance with the hydrological situation at the project, Song Quang Hydropower Joint Stock Company plans to operate and regulate Song Quang Hydropower Reservoir as follows:
Estimated time of regulation operation: Starting from 02:30, September 27, 2023.
Total discharge from 20 m3/s to 90 m3/s (Including discharge flow through the valve gate, flow through the spillway and generation flow of the generators) and may change depending on the amount of water entering the lake.
Discharge end time: Until the end of the flood season.
The Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense informs: Que Phong District People's Committee; Heads of provincial departments, branches and sectors to inform authorities at all levels, agencies, units, investors who are constructing along the river, on the river, owners of water transport vehicles and all people in the downstream area of Song Quang Hydropower Plant to know and deploy necessary work, ensuring the safety of life and property of the State and people.
