On October 2, the leader of the Department of Industry and Trade said that the People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued a document on strengthening State management in consumer rights protection activities to relevant departments, branches and People's Committees of districts, cities and towns.
This move came after the Department of Industry and Trade reported that recently, a number of organizations and individuals have taken advantage of the guise of "giving gifts of gratitude" to organize conferences and seminars to introduce products to sell products of unknown origin, of uncertain quality, with false advertising and exaggeration of product uses, causing outrage among the people and local authorities.
