Motorbike driver with alcohol concentration, crashed straight into traffic police
Bac Quang District Police (Ha Giang Province) decided to detain Ban Ngoc Hanh for driving a motorbike with alcohol concentration, hitting the traffic police.
On October 18, Ha Giang Provincial Police said that Bac Quang District Police had decided to temporarily detain Ban Ngoc Hanh (born 2000, residing in Kim Ngoc Commune, Bac Quang District) to investigate the act of resisting a person on official duty.
Accordingly, at about 9:50 p.m. on October 17, a working group of the Traffic Police - Order Team of Bac Quang District Police on duty to check alcohol and drug concentrations at km3+200, National Highway 279 (in Quang Minh Commune) discovered a motorbike driver carrying a passenger behind showing signs of violation, so they asked to stop the vehicle for inspection.

However, when seeing the working group, the driver accelerated and drove straight into the working group, causing Captain Hoang Minh Hai (a member of the working group) to fall onto the road and injure his leg.
After the collision, both people on the motorbike fell to the road, sliding about 20 meters.
The task force then arrested two people on the motorbike and took Captain Hai to Bac Quang District General Hospital for first aid.
Initially, the police identified the driver who crashed straight into the working group as Ban Ngoc Hanh, and the person sitting in the back was Ly Quang Thanh (born 2000, residing in Kim Ngoc commune, Bac Quang district).
During the alcohol concentration test, the police discovered that Ban Ngoc Hanh violated the level of 0.805 milligrams/liter of breath, and Ly Quang Thanh violated the level of 0.838 milligrams/liter of breath.
