Nghe An provincial leaders congratulate the Provincial Women's Union on October 20
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 19, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized a delegation to visit and congratulate the Provincial Women's Union on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2023).
Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee was the head of the delegation. Also attending were Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Committees.
Promoting the traditions and good qualities of Vietnamese women, the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union has maintained its core role in the women's movement, constantly innovating its content and methods of operation to gather members, promote all potentials and creativity, create great spread in movements; worthy of being an organization representing, caring for, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women in the province.
In his congratulatory speech, on behalf of the provincial leaders and the working delegation, Deputy Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong emphasized that the provincial Party Committee, government and socio-political organizations always acknowledge and highly appreciate the results of the implementation of functions, tasks and activities of the Women's Union at all levels in the province.
Especially in recent years, the role of socio-political organizations, including the Women's Union, has been very good in contributing to building Party committees and governments; performing the task of criticism so that the political system, Party organizations and governments can operate more and more effectively.
The provincial Women's Union at all levels also launched and implemented very effective grassroots movements in the fields of economic development, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and coordinated with other organizations to build the political system, ensure security and order, and educate the younger generation;...
Thereby, the Association has affirmed the role of the association and its female members; contributing to the implementation of the goals and tasks of building the province to become more and more developed, and the political system at all levels to become increasingly stronger.
On behalf of the provincial leaders and the working delegation, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong acknowledged and thanked the contributions of the Women's Union at all levels from the province to the grassroots level over the past time; hoped that the Union and its members would continue to promote their spirit and determination to excellently complete the tasks assigned by the Party and State; effectively carry out movements associated with the implementation of goals and targets on socio-economic development, building the political system, ensuring national defense and security in the province.
On behalf of the officials and members of the Women's Union at all levels in the province, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Standing Vice President of the Union thanked the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the working delegation for their deep concern, understanding and sharing in the activities and movements of the Women's Union at all levels in the province. The Union always receives the attention and close direction of the Standing Provincial Party Committee, as well as the orientation of the activities of the Party Committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office.
Thereby, the Standing Vice President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union hopes to continue to receive the attention, leadership and close direction of the Provincial Party Committee; the orientation of the Party Committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office so that the activities and movements of the Provincial Women's Union will grow stronger and more effective; contributing to the implementation of the province's political tasks, as well as the women's movement of the whole country.
