Leaders of Nghe An province congratulate the Provincial Women's Union on October 20th.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 19th, the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee organized a delegation to visit and congratulate the Provincial Women's Union on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2023).
Comrade Nguyen Van Thong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, led the delegation. Also present were Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office; and leaders of various departments of the Provincial Party Committee.

Upholding the traditions and fine qualities of Vietnamese women, the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union has maintained its core role in the women's movement, constantly innovating the content and methods of its activities to gather members, unleash all potential and creativity, and create a widespread impact in various movements; rightfully deserving to be the organization representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of women in the province.
Speaking on behalf of the provincial leadership and the delegation, Deputy Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong emphasized that the Party Committee, government, and political and social organizations of the province always acknowledge and highly appreciate the results of the functions, tasks, and activities of the Women's Union at all levels in the province.

Particularly in recent years, the role of socio-political organizations, including the Vietnam Women's Union, has been very well demonstrated in contributing to the building of Party committees and government; carrying out the task of providing feedback to make the political system, Party organizations, and government operate more effectively.

The provincial Women's Union branches have also simultaneously launched and implemented very effective grassroots movements in the fields of economic development, poverty alleviation, and coordination with other organizations to build the political system, ensure security and order, and educate the younger generation;…
Through this, the Association has affirmed the role of the organization and its female members; contributing to the achievement of goals and tasks in building a more developed province and a stronger political system at all levels.

On behalf of the provincial leadership and the delegation, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Nguyen Van Thong, acknowledged and thanked the contributions of women's associations at all levels, from the province to the grassroots, over the past period. He expressed his hope that the associations and their members would continue to uphold their spirit and determination to excellently fulfill the tasks entrusted by the Party and the State; and effectively implement movements linked to achieving goals and targets for economic and social development, building the political system, and ensuring national defense and security in the province.
On behalf of the officials and members of the Women's Union at all levels in the province, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Standing Vice President of the Union - expressed gratitude for the profound concern, understanding, and sharing of the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and the delegation regarding the activities and movements of the Women's Union at all levels in the province. The Union has always received close attention and guidance from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, as well as the operational direction from the Party committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office.

Through this, the Standing Vice President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union expressed her hope to continue receiving the close attention, leadership, and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; and the direction of the Party Committees and the Provincial Party Committee Office so that the activities and movements of the Provincial Women's Union will grow stronger and more effective; contributing to the fulfillment of the province's political tasks, as well as the women's movement nationwide.
