According to the CME FedWatch Tool, the market sees nearly a 100% probability that the Federal Reserve (Fed) will keep interest rates unchanged at 5.25% to 5.50%. At the same time, the Fed is expected to maintain tight monetary policies in the short term.

Chairman Jerome Powell has signaled that interest rates may remain stable at next week's meeting. The agency wants more time to assess the impact of current interest rates on the economy.

The core personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index, a preferred measure of inflation for the Fed, rose 3.7% in September, a slight decrease from the 3.8% increase in August. This marks the second consecutive month that the core PCE index has been below 4%, suggesting that inflation control is on track.

Strategic analysts suggest that geopolitical instability and concerns about public debt will support safe-haven demand in the near future. A closing price above $2,000 per ounce could signal a move toward a new price level.
