Honoring 80 outstanding female teachers overcoming difficulties in 2023

(Baonghean.vn) - 80 outstanding female teachers overcoming difficulties with 80 different circumstances and work units, are all beautiful symbols of compassion, love for the profession, sacrifice, and bravery.

On the morning of November 20, Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Women's Union to organize "Commemorating outstanding teachers overcoming difficulties in 2023".

Attending the ceremony were comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Thai Van Thanh - Director of the Department of Education and Training; Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - President of the Provincial Women's Union; Kha Van Tam - President of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of relevant departments, branches, sectors, and units, and 80 outstanding female teachers who overcame difficulties across the province were honored on this occasion.

This is an activity on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2023), and is also an occasion for trade unions at all levels, union members and workers to enthusiastically compete to achieve achievements to welcome the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union.

Nghe An education in recent years has achieved many good results and achievements and is one of the provinces with the top quality of education and training in the country. Contributing to these achievements are the constant efforts of the teaching staff in the whole province, especially the female teachers - the force accounting for 74% of the total number of teachers. The female teachers have devoted a lot of enthusiasm to the school, the class,stick to the originalfor the sake of beloved students. Many teachers have overcome their own circumstances, striving to become excellent teachers at school, district and provincial levels.

In order to care for, take care of, and honor the contributions of the teaching staff, especially female teachers with difficult circumstances who have overcome difficulties to rise up, on this occasion, 80 outstanding female teachers were honored - those who are directly teaching at educational institutions with difficult circumstances, but have overcome difficulties to rise up, have made many contributions to education, actively and effectively participated in volunteer activities for students, and are trusted by students, teachers, colleagues, and parents.

80 womenteacherThe honorees this time were selected and honored by the trade union at all levels. Among them, 19 teachers are currently teaching in especially difficult border communes, some of whom have been in the area for 20 to over 30 years; 16 of them have to raise their children alone because their husbands died or sacrificed; 25 of them have husbands and children and unfortunately have serious illnesses.

The misfortunes and difficulties did not make them fall or leave the podium. With determination and love for the profession, they have strived to take care of their families, completed their assigned tasks, many of them participated in training excellent students to achieve high results, and became excellent teachers at district and provincial levels.

In the list of honors, there are 3 teachers who received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister; 8 teachers received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training; 7 teachers received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 48 teachers received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 15 teachers received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Labor Federation.

They are the most beautiful flowers, overcoming the special circumstances of themselves, their families, and their working localities, silently sowing knowledge and writing beautiful songs about the teaching profession and the image of the people's teacher.

At this event, delegates watched the reportage, listened to the sharing and participated in the exchange and conversation. Before that, 80 womenoutstanding teachersheld an incense offering ceremony and reported to Uncle Ho at Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh City).
