Commending 80 outstanding female teachers who overcame difficulties in 2023.

(Baonghean.vn) - 80 exemplary female teachers, overcoming difficulties and working in 80 different circumstances and units, are all beautiful symbols of compassion, love for their profession, self-sacrifice, and resilience.

On the morning of November 20th, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Union, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Women's Union, organized the "Commendation Ceremony for Outstanding Teachers Overcoming Difficulties in 2023".

Attending the event were Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee: Bui Dinh Long – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Thai Van Thanh – Director of the Department of Education and Training; Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - President of the Provincial Women's Union; Kha Van Tam - President of the Provincial Labor Union; representatives from relevant departments, agencies, and units, along with 80 outstanding female teachers from across the province who overcame difficulties and were honored on this occasion.

This activity is held to commemorate the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2023), and also to encourage trade unions at all levels and union members to enthusiastically compete to achieve accomplishments in chào mừng the 13th National Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.

In recent years, Nghe An's education sector has achieved many good results and accomplishments, making it one of the leading provinces in the country in terms of education and training quality. Contributing to this achievement is the tireless effort of the teaching staff throughout the province, especially the female teachers – who make up 74% of the total teaching staff. These female teachers have dedicated much of their time and effort to their schools and classrooms.clinging to the villageFor the sake of their beloved students, many teachers have overcome their personal circumstances and strived to become excellent teachers at the school, district, and provincial levels.

In order to show care, respect, and honor the contributions of the teaching staff, especially female teachers facing difficult circumstances who have overcome challenges and risen above them, this occasion honored 80 exemplary female teachers – those who are directly teaching at educational institutions in difficult circumstances, but who have overcome difficulties and made many contributions to education, actively and effectively participating in charitable activities for students, and are trusted and loved by students, teachers, colleagues, and parents.

80 womenteacherThe honorees this time were selected and recognized by trade unions at all levels. Among them are 19 teachers currently teaching in particularly difficult border communes, some of whom have been working in remote areas for 20 to over 30 years; 16 teachers who are raising their children alone because their husbands have passed away or been killed in action; and 25 teachers whose husbands, children, and themselves unfortunately suffer from serious illnesses.

Misfortunes and difficulties did not break these teachers or make them leave the classroom. With determination and love for their profession, they strived to take care of their families, fulfill their assigned duties, and many participated in training gifted students to achieve high results, becoming outstanding teachers at the district and provincial levels.

The list of honored teachers includes 3 who received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister; 8 who received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Education and Training; 7 who received Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 48 who received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and 15 who received Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Labor Union.

These women are the most beautiful flowers, overcoming the extraordinary circumstances of their own lives, families, and workplaces, silently sowing the seeds of knowledge and nurturing future generations, and writing beautiful songs about the teaching profession and the image of the people's teacher.

At this event, delegates watched a documentary, listened to presentations, and participated in a Q&A session. Prior to that, 80 women...outstanding teacherThey held a ceremony to offer incense and report their achievements to President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh Square (Vinh City).
